I’d suggest finding a short meditation to do daily and building up to longer meditations over time.
Remember the idea of meditation is not to empty your mind but to become comfortable and aware of what is there, without judgement – simply observing. Every time your mind strays, you gently bring it back to observing.
As with everything meditation becomes easier with practice. Give yourself time to experience the benefits of meditation through a daily meditation/present mindedness practice.
